Hi I’m Sam
…and I’m on a mission to banish boring headshots, DIY selfies and soulless stock photos - replacing them with imagery that actually feels like you and tells your brand story with warmth and personality.
I know how awkward it can feel in front of a camera (yep, I’ve been there). My goal is to take the cringe out of it and help you show up confidently - so your website, socials and marketing actually look and feel like the business you’ve worked so hard to build.
I don’t just take photos because I know how to shoot in manual (although don’t worry, I do). I do it because I’ve seen first-hand the impact great visuals can have. Photos that work hard for your brand mean:
→ More connection
→ More trust
→ More clients

“My session with you has been instrumental in elevating my business. It has significantly boosted brand awareness by providing a consistent and authentic visual identity across various platforms.
It’s not only enhanced my business presence but deepened my connection with my community through the power of visual storytelling.”

I’ve been a professional photographer for 12 years - and for the last 5, I’ve been helping small businesses lift their game through honest, story-driven photography, whether it’s themselves, their product or their craft.
Based by the sea in Beachlands, Auckland, I shoot all over the city. When I’m not out on location, you’ll find me tucked in my home office, probably resisting a third coffee and grinning like a fool while editing images (with our dog Coco snoring at my feet.)
I’d love to be editing your images next - the kind that feel like you, reflect your brand, and make people want to work with you.

Here’s a few extra bits about me…
→ I studied fashion design at uni and spent 10 years working in fashion and ecommerce in London and Auckland before photography stole my heart. That background still sneaks into my shoots - I’m all about the details, the vibe, and how it all comes together.
→ I moonlight as a mum of 2 boys and a wife to Aaron (kidding, I take this role VERY seriously).
→ If I wasn’t a photographer, I would pursue interior design.
→ My coffee order (wink wink, nudge nudge): Flat white, half sugar.
→ Green is my colour - forest, sage, olive… you name it, I love it (as you can probably tell from my branding!)
→ I’m a sucker for good design, beautiful branding, thoughtful, considered brands and creative people doing cool things. That’s why I love this job.
→ My weaknesses in no particular order are: Portuguese custard tarts, chocolate, good wine, good chats… and fried chicken.
